Dark Souls developer expands with second studio

Dark Souls developer From Software has founded a second development group.
Gematsu reports the new From Software studio will be located in Fukuoka and will mainly focus on building assets for the core teams back in Tokyo.
Fukuoka is pretty accessible to Tokyo via domestic flight or shinkansen, and is significantly more affordable than the capital. The studio will officially open next month, but won't begin full production till January 2016.
It's great to see From Software growing as a result of its success over the past decade. As well as Demon's Souls, Dark Souls and Bloodborne, From is responsible for various Armored Core and Gundam games and the best forgotten Kinect Steel Battalion.
