Dark Souls 3 will run at 60FPS on PC

It's official. Dark Souls 3 will be the snappiest entry to date.

Dark Souls 3 will run at 60FPS on PC, Bandai Namco confirmed through the game's Twitter account today.

This is a big deal, and not just that everyone always wants the best frame rate possible because Bigger Numbers Are Better. The Dark Souls series (and friends) attract the kind of action player who counts frames and knows precisely which moments of an animation are safe and which are deadly.

The two Dark Souls PC ports to date haven't been hugely impressive but there was a definite sense of improvement from the first to the second, so we have hope that this is just the start of its selling points.

Dark Souls 3 arrives in April on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
