Dark Souls 3 tops UK retail charts

Dark Souls 3 has had the highest launch sales of the series so far.

Dark Souls 3 is topping the UK retail charts this week, knocking Quantum Break off the top spot, where it's tumbled down to number four.

This is the series' first time at number one. Previously, Dark Souls 2 managed to get to second place during its launch week, and was the highest in terms of sales and chart position for the Souls series.

As well as taking the top spot, Dark Souls 3 is enjoying a huge 61 per cent increase in sales compared to the prequel.

The Division has taken the second slot, while UFC 2 has clawed its way up from eighth to fifth place.
