Danganronpa 3 announced for PS4 and Vita

The promised third chapter in the Danganronpa saga is on its way.

Danganronpa developer Spike Chunsoft confirmed a third core Danganronpa game during PlayStation's Tokyo Game Show 2015 media briefing.

Lauded scenario writer Kazutaka Kadoka made an appearance to announce it. A teaser trailer was shown but hasn't made its way to the wilds yet.

The third game, which we're just calling Danganronpa 3 until we get an official translation of the title, is coming to PS4 and Vita but was not dated or detailed - don't expect anything soon, though.

Kadoka did say "it’s gonna be something that you’d never imagine,” and promised more news soon, without committing to a date.

Danganronpa is a series of visual novel murder mystery thrillers. There have been two main games as well as a spin-off title, and they do very nicely in the west.
