CVG ed appears on Alan Titchmarsh in game violence debate

CVG editor Tim Ingham appeared on The Alan Titchmarsh Show to co-debate the issue of violence in games.

From the get-go, he was under the spotlight by Titchmarsh and actress/sexpert Julie Peasgood.

The battle seemed one-sided, although former Sun editor Kelvin McKenzie was a little more open to the debate, acknowledging the average age of a hardcore gamer was 33. Peasgood was still up for a fight, mind.

"Videogames are interactive – they promote hatred, violence and sexism," she said, later pointing at the infamous airport level from Modern Warfare 2.
