Curiosity update "eliminates any future loss of coins," set to release on Android first

22Cans has said it "regrets and apologizes" for the coin loss and connection issues players have been experiencing with Curiosity.

Speaking in a blog post on the developer's site, the team responsible for the Cube servers said it misjudged the performance of the system under the load when Curiosity went live, and to combat the issues, it increased the server count by 14 times.

However, the team had to disable a number of systems which were bottlenecks, and included was a system which reconciled coins across multiple devices.

The team said that while the new servers have "greatly improved the connection issue," coin reconciliation is not online. This means that should you upgrade, uninstall, or press the Facebook button for the game, you will lose coins.

The teams said that along with maintaining the stability of the servers being its "highest priority," releasing an update which "eliminates any future loss of coins by users as a result of pressing the Facebook button or upgrading," is also in the works.

The update is currently "in the pipeline"and being submitted for review by Apple today. It will be released first on Android within the next few days.
