Remake of cult-classic FPS XIII delayed to 2020

Microids and PlayMagic announced today XIII, the remake of the cult-classic cel-shaded shooter, has been pushed into 2020.

Originally slated for release November 13, XIII will now instead be released in 2020.

A new release date has not be announced.

"This additional development time is needed to reach the level of polish we’re aiming for," said Microids head of production,François Coulon, in the press release.

"The announcement was greeted by an overwhelming response from the community and we’ll make sure to deliver the best possible game to our fans."

Originally released for the original Xbox, GameCube and PlayStation 2 in 2003, the XIII (thirteen) remake will be released for Mac, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One in physical and digital editions.
