Creative Assembly hiring for next-gen on Alien game

The Creative Assembly is hiring folk for its upcoming Alien game, with a listing placing the game for current and next-gen systems.

"We are seeking an experienced programmer with proven skills in the area of gameplay and multi-player games. The successful applicant will be working on a AAA multi-platform title on current and future generation consoles set in the Alien universe," reads a listing on CA's website for a gameplay/multiplayer programmer.

Creative Assembly announced work on the project alongside the opening of a new studio last May. Studio boss Tim Heaton told VG247 at the time it was aiming towards the likes of Red Dead Redemption with the quality of the game.

"One of our big questions marks was that we didn’t want to just make a game out of a film license – you know, just deliver the film and that’s about it. We’re aiming for the Red Dead Redemptions, the Arkham Asylums; that’s absolutely where we want to be. We want to make a 90 percent game that’s easily communicable to people simply because it’s in that Alien world.”
