Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled free update adds new characters, prehistoric track, kart and more

A new update for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled lands later this week with two new playable characters, kart, new items, and more.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled players can look forward to two new playable characters this week along with the Prehistoric Playground track.

On August 2, the second free Grand Prix season will drop.

It comes with baby versions of Crash and Coco, and the Probulot 2000 kart from Crash Tag Team Racing will be added to the Pit Stop.

Players will have 18 new items to earn by completing challenges and filling their Nitro Gauge. One of the new rewards is a new racer to CTR, Baby T. from Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped.

New skins include Mad Scientist Crash, Sabertooth Pura, and Stone Age N. Tropy to name a few. There will be new kart customization items such as Lave Rock Wheels available as well.

The Prehistoric Playground track will also be included, and is full of giant "Jurassic-sized" flora, geysers, caves and giant dinosaurs.
