Counter-Strike: Global Offensive update adds paid community pass - rumour

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was reportedly accidentally updated today, and before Valve could yank the patch, users have uncovered an interesting couple of references to some sort of premium server pass.

The details of the yanked update were collated on Reddit, and the most pertinent part is labelled "new strings". In this section you'll find this mentions of the pass:

"Community Support Pass Season One: Grants access to Season One's featured community maps on Official Servers. Proceeds are divided among the featured map creators."

There's also plenty of references to the in-game store.

Other interesting snippets found in the update include changes to Hostage Mode allowing you to carry targets, something called Trial Mode and a new menu UI.

PCGamesN reports the patch is expected to go live for good tomorrow, so all this should become clear shortly. Expect PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 updates to follow.
