Cookie Clicker version 2.0 is live, so there goes the rest of today

Cookie Clicker is mindless and terrible and should never be played by anyone. I will probably never close the tab.
After an extended beta of nearly two years, Cookie Clicker version 2.0 has launched.
The hefty update adds a stack of new buildings, achievements and upgrades, as well as a Legacy system and a bunch of rebalancing.
There are almost certainly new secrets, too, and the ascension system has been completely overhauled with Heavenly upgrades.
At present, popular add-ons like Cookie Monster do not function with the new build; you're gonna have to do this the hard way. (Or stick with the old version.)
