Operation Flashpoint 2 moves to 2009, first trailer this week

operationflashpoint24.jpg

The official Operation Flashpoint 2 site has gone live, as has the news that the game will no longer release this year: the most ridiculously amazingly detailed representation of war in development will release in 2009.

The game was pegged for a "winter" release back in March.

The site also brings word that the game's first trailer is to release on July 11, or "Friday" in normal speak. We're assured that the site's gallery is to be updated then as well, as the shots in there at the moment are from last year.

More later this week.
