Codemasters: 3D is becoming a "factor"
Speaking to CVG, Codemasters boss Rod Cousens has noted that 3D's gaining importance as a technology.
"The approach will be that we'll annualise Formula One and alternate DiRT and GRID [one every two years]. And we'll alternate them because we want the experience to grow each time," he said.
"Obviously, the way the games are written today, within that the design of the game will lend itself to online, and we're conscious of the fact that 3D is becoming a factor.”
Sony put a big emphasis on 3D at its conference during E3, saying the technology is set to play a big part in the future of the console.
Dirt 3 was announced by Codemasters earlier this year.
