Code Vein E3 2017 trailer looks a lot like the old trailer, but maybe your young eyes will see something we didn’t

Code Vein, Bandai Namco's stylish 'Anime Vampire Souls' game, got a new trailer during Microsoft's Xbox One X-centric presentation.

This new 'Thorns of Judgement' shows a lot of rolling, stabbing and slicing. It looks proper violent, as one might expect.

In terms of new footage, though, it's extremely light. Check out the game's first trailer, released back in May, and you'll see a lot of the game footage. It's been shuffled around a bit, of course, but there's a whole lot of overlap here.

Still, it wouldn't do to show up at E3 without a new trailer. We may not come away from it with a deeper understanding of what the game is, exactly, but it's a fine reminder that it exists at the very least.

The main news here, actually, is that Code Vein has now been confirmed for PC. This was not clear from the original trailer, which simply promised a release on 'major home consoles'. It will release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC at some point in 2018.
