Classic Psychonauts arrives on PS4 this spring

Double Fine's PS2 classic Psychonauts will be released on PlayStation sometime this spring.

For those who have never played the platformer should give it go before taking on the sequel, Psychonauts 2.

Honestly, it was a really fun game in the first place, so it's worth a play anyway.

The ending of Psychonauts ends on a cliffhanger, and what happens next will be revealed in the PlayStation VR title Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin later this year. It will serve as a bridge between the first title and the sequel.

Psychonauts 2 was announced in December as a crowdfunding project on Fig. It recently met its funding goal and will be released on PS4 in "a few years time."

Double Fine's Tim Schafer took part in a Reddit AMA recently and provided a few extra details on the plot for Psychonauts 2, which he discussed with us back in December.
