Civilization Revolution 2 revealed, but you might not be able to play it for a while

Civilization Revolution 2 has been revealed by publisher 2K Games. The latest in the Sid Meier series is coming exclusively to iOS on July 2, so if you don't have a suitable Apple device you might be left wanting.

2K Games confirmed the July 2 release date today, and posted four screenshots that you'll find below.

It's coming to iOS - iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch to be precise - and will eventually hit Android devices, although a release window was not confirmed.

Civilization Revolution 2 will feature such historical figures as John F. Kennedy, Gandhi, Winston Churchill and Abraham Lincoln.
