Civilization 6 gameplay footage shows off the game's new features

Civilization 6, due later this year looks pretty captivating.

If you missed the excellent Civilization E3 walkthrough, narrated by the great Sean Bean, be sure to give it a watch.

Friend-of-VG247 Arekkz recently went hands-on with the game at an event in London, and despite having no experience with the series previously, he seems to have picked up quite a bit over his three hour gameplay session.

As Arekkz points out, cities will now physically expand across the map, and knowing the historical traits of the leaders in the game will allow you to predict their actions - each leader will pursue an agenda based on their history.

Get ready to break out the history books before the Civilization 6 hits October 21 for PC.
