Chivalry: Medieval Warfare sales pass 1.2 million

Torn Banner Studios' first-person historical combat sim Chivalry: Medieval Warfare has shifted 1.2 million copies in just nine months.

The developer announced the sales milestone today, along with a number of other factoids.

455,802 copies were sold in the US alone, with the UK in second place with 98,856, followed by Canada, Germany, Russia and Australia.

Chivalry's peak concurrent user record is 23,233.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare has a customisation system which the developer is very proud of, although it doesn't let you play as a woman, for deeply mysterious reasons.

Torn Banner is bringing mod tools to the game, and it has been generous with free DLC support.
