Check out these Gears of War 4 screenshots showing off Horde 3.0

You've seen the trailer, now have a look at some lovely screenshots. They aren't scrunched, so it may take a minute for each to load.

Speaking of the Horde 3.0 trailer for Gears of War 4, if you missed it yesterday, we have you covered though the handy link in this rather long sentence.

The five player co-op mode comes complete with new character classes, skills, abilities and more. Horde 3.0 will task players with battling wave after wave of increasingly difficult enemies and to help matters, you will be able to build fortifications anywhere on the map.

Alex  has a nice chat with the shooter’s multiplayer lead Ryan Cleven about what’s new in the mode. It goes into much more detail than I ever could, and it's a good read.

Also, if you aren't into Horde, there's always Versus Multiplayer or two-player campaign co-op.

Gears of War 4 will be available worldwide October 11 on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.
