There's a headline I never thought I'd write. A new video shows off PS4's startup beep and fan noise. Console wars really do turn the strangest things into news...

It could very easily just be a PS3, as the sounds are identical. But the video originates from the Instagram profile of SCEE's UK PR manager, so we know it's legit.

A bunch of new shots of PS4's user interface have also been revealed.

So, um... do you like the beep?
