Check out how Destiny: Rise of Iron's 22 Ornaments will change the new weapons and armour sets

Destiny: Rise of Iron's new customisation system gets its most comprehensive preview to date.

Destiny: Rise of Iron introduces a new customisation system which is something like the Chroma delivered earlier this year - they're equipped in a slot on specific weapons and armour sets, and change the appearance of the gear.

Bungie hasn't talked too much about these Ornaments, probably because it's going to be super fun to discover them when Destiny: Rise of Iron releases in September. Not to worry - our resident Destiny expert Arekkz asked a few questions at gamescom 20165, and has rounded up everything we know about them, including recently revealed artwork showing off the Ornaments themselves as well as compatible armour sets.

As you'll see in the video above, Ornaments provide much more dramatic changes than Chroma ever did. There will be 22 Ornaments when Destiny: Rise of Iron launches, and we can speculate a little on how many options this will provide players with. It'll be rad to see Guardians gadding about in all new fashion combinations.
