CCP teasing Vita controls for Dust 514

CCP has given eye-popping hints that Dust 514 could support PlayStation Vita as a controller.

The Icelandic company said in the latest episode of the PlayStation Blogcast that players could "imagine" it as a pad.

"Once you get your hands on the Vita, you can imagine it as a controller for your Dust experience," said CCP's David Reid. "Suddenly you can think about all the things you can do with that screen."

He added: "Our first steps will be cohort apps - the idea of taking a certain amount of the [game's] admin on the go. But the opportunity is massive in terms of what could be on that screen while you're playing Dust 514."

Dust's Vita support will initially begin as a companion app, as previously announced. The F2PMMOFPS launches this year for PS3.
