Catherine on-disc files hint at PC port, realistic design

Content pulled from the Western release of Catherine suggests Atlus had a PC port in mind at one stage.

VG Resource found a pile of unused content in the files on Catherine's Xbox 360 release. In addition to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 button prompts, the site turned up templates for mouse and keyboard control schemes.

The interface sheets were found in a folder labelled Test, so Atlus may not have got further than the idea-floating stage.

Other interesting finds include a character select screen showing two actors, who bare little resemblance to our heroes, and another less exciting example.

And, finally, there's also a bunch of images apparently taken on a mobile phone - both shots seemingly taken by Vincent, and the racy images he occasionally receives. So go ahead and click through to look at cartoon sexts if that's your bag. We're not judging.
