Catch Our Super NES 25th Anniversary Stream Series [Next: EarthBound]

Nintendo's 16-bit behemoth has hit the quarter-century mark, and we're celebrating with live streams of the system's 25 best games! Our anniversary showcase continues next week with EarthBound.

This article first appeared on USgamer, a partner publication of VG247. Some content, such as this article, has been migrated to VG247 for posterity after USgamer's closure - but it has not been edited or further vetted by the VG247 team.

Nintendo debuted its impressive Super NES console in America 25 years ago this month, and it went on to become one of the internet's all-time favorite game systems. So, this month, we're revisiting the system's library... but only the best games.

That's "best games" as determined by us, the USgamer team. We all took a vote on personal favorite SNES games, tallied the results, and now I'm playing them all live on Twitch. Your selections may differ, but that's the beauty of opinions: Everyone has them, and they work well on livestreams. Interested in watching? You can catch our stream schedule posts at the beginning of each week, and this hub page will be updated regularly with the latest archives and announcements as well.

Next stream: Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest — Friday Aug. 19 at 9:30 a.m. ET, 6:30 a.m. PT on the USgamer Twitch channel.

As always, if you miss a stream, it'll be archived soon after on the USgamer YouTube channel.
