Cancelled third-person Call of Duty was Devil's Brigade

Vox Games has uncovered a wealth of new information on a canned, third-person Call of Duty title. Call of Duty: Devil's Brigade was cancelled in 2008 after nine months of development, and was intended as a squad-based action adventure based on a WWII-era American and Canadian troop of the same name. The game didn't encounter any major obstacles, but was shelved as a casualty of Activision and Vivendi's merger. Check out the full article for an interesting look at a lost treasure.
