Call of Duty: WW2 - flinch will be changed, but Domination points will remain as is for now

Now that connection and server problems in Call of Duty: WW2 have subsided, fans direct their attention to other, more nuanced requests.

Michael Condrey, the ever helpful studio lead for Call of Duty: WW2 developer Sledgehammer, has taken to Twitter to answer a few fan questions about many subjects.

Flinch was among the things some players found too punishing in its current state. According to Condrey, "global changes" are coming to flinch. These changes are currently being tested to ensure they're balanced across the different weapons and Divisions.

Condrey did not divulge any more details, but it's probably safe to assume flinch will be reduced. For the unfamiliar, flinch is what happens when you get shot. When it kicks in, it heavily affects your ability to aim accurately, giving an advantage to whoever shoots first.

Another hot topic is the number of points given to players per kill in Domination. Perhaps as a way of encouraging players to push the objectives, Sledgehammer decided to only award 50 points for a kill, as opposed to 100 points fans have come to expect.

This issue too was raised with Condrey, who said the data reveals that more fans like it the way it is.

As it currently stands, Domination is not among the modes that generate the most XP per minute. As we've explained in our guide for the best ways to level up fast, Kill Confirmed is a great way to do that.
