Call of Duty: Warzone invisibility glitch arrives alongside Season One

It seems like there's an invisibility glitch every other month in Warzone.

Those of us looking forward to trying out the new content in Call of Duty: Warzone, which just arrived as part of Black Ops Cold War's first season, will be disappointed to learn that a new glitch has already been discovered.

Though the circumstances may be different, the glitch should actually be familiar to longtime Warzone players. That's because it's yet another invisibility exploit.

According to multiple reports on Reddit, bad actors who are exploiting the glitch are out in full force, with a few honest players even losing to them in the final circles simply because they couldn't see them.

Some of them managed to spectate the exploiters as they sneak up behind enemies and execute a finishing move without their targets being any the wiser. The glitch apparently involves the new helicopters added with Season One, which now have miniguns on the sides.

At the very least, you should know that it's easy enough to trigger, which might explain why there are so many invisible players running around Warzone.

The Season One launch and the subsequent Warzone merge with Black Ops Cold War has not entirely been smooth. PC players were locked out of the new content for hours, until Treyarch fixed it later in the day. There's also been reports of hitching on PS5, a platform that already suffers from random crashes.
