Call of Duty: Roman Wars was never going to happen

Vincenzo Camuccini, "Morte di Cesare", 1798,

Vicarious Visions pitched Call of Duty: Roman Wars to the publisher years ago, but it didn't get further than that. Now Activision has stated that it was never a serious contender in any sense.

The original pitch came from Vicarious Visions before Activision bought the studio and set it to work on Transformers, Tony Hawk, Spider-Man and Guitar Hero games.
