Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 3 video shows new maps, operator, plus PS4 gets timed-exclusive content

Season three of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is nearly upon us and we have the trailer to prove it.

Infinity Ward has released the first trailer for Season three of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which covers the main game as well as free-to-play Warzone.

Kicking off tomorrow on all platforms, Season three introduces a new operator in Alex from the game's campaign. As last week's leaks revealed, we're also getting new maps for multiplayer.

Just like every new season, there's also a new Battle Pass for Season three. Today's trailer shows off a little bit of the new content coming to the game, including new weapons, rides, bigger squads, and maps.

The three new 6v6 multiplayer maps are Talsik Backlot, Hovec Sawmill, and Aniyah Incursion. You can also expect a new Quads Mode for Warzone, and more modes will join the mix mid-season.

Weapons are the Renetti handgun (Tier 15) and the SKS marksman rifle (Tier 31).

PS4 timed-exclusive content

Modern Warfare Season 3 also brings exclusive content for PlayStation 4 users, which are timed until October 1.

There's the timed-exclusive and fan-favorite Shoot House for Survival mode, where you battle it out with your squad and find choke points to take down waves of opponents.

Also, for Warzone players, PS Plus subscribers can pick up the Season Three Combat Pack which contains the Epic Operator skin for Wyatt, an Epic sniper rifle blueprint, the Epic handgun blueprint, an Epic tactical knife, Epic weapon charm, Animated Calling Card, Spray, and a 60-minute Double Weapon XP Token.

Season 3 goes live tomorrow, April 8.
