Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare listed on PS Store, set for real next week - rumor

A reveal date of May 3 was posted online through a retailer, according to a tweet from Jim Sterling. The listing has a "replace header image" notation next to it and "call of Duty reveal" next to it.

Then over on reddit, user Goontmyfries found what appears to be a listing for the title Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare listed on the PlayStation Store.

Previous rumors regarding the title stated the Infinity Ward-developed shoot would be set in the far future and features space combat between “warring sci-fi groups.”

Activision said in early March the game would debut at E3 this year. It is also reportedly releasing in early November, which is likely accurate considering the franchise's previous release history.

As far as Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare or the rumored May 3 reveal date is concerned, we'll send Activision an email and ask about it. If we hear back, we'll let you know.

In the meantime, it's still considered a rumor for obvious reasons.
