Call of Duty: Ghosts' latest DLC pack Invasion is coming to Xbox One and 360 today, courtesy of Infinity Ward, and early access YouTubers have posted gameplay from all the new maps online. We've rounded up the best footage for your viewing pleasure here.
With Invasion, Infinity Ward has followed its trend for this run of DLC, with three new multiplayer maps with weird twists, a remake of an old map and a new episode of Extinction thrown in for good measure. The studio allowed a handful of YouTubers access to the pack early and they've all created some gameplay videos to show off the new content. We've compiled the best clips here.
This desert ruin map is full of easter eggs, as seen in the videos below. It looks like quite an expansive locale with plenty of routes and open areas that demand caution. The special field order in this map gives you every single perk in the game for a while. That's significant. Check it out below:
Next up: Mutiny
It's a map set on pirate ships. You guys still like pirates right? It's a small map set in an old wooden harbour with leaky roofs, inns and lots of elevated areas, you know? Pirate shit. Here's some more videos:
Thanks OpTic MiDNiTE.
Next up: Departed
This colourful map takes place in Mexico during Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead if you will. Much like becoming Predator in the last map pack, if you manage to complete a specific Field Order in this environment you will unlock a mean-looking Death Mariachi killstreak. Check it out below:
Next up: Favela
This is a returning map from Modern Warfare 2 that was full of multiple storeys, lots of apartments to hide in and a big sloping environment that favoured those adaptable to different ranges. It also brings back the notorious AC-130 killstreak. How does it fare in Ghosts? Find out below:
Thanks OpTic MiDNiTE.
Next up: Extinction
Extinction: Episode 3 - Awakening
The third chapter in the Extinction timeline sees players thrown into an alien hive that includes weird gravity effects that allows you to jump really high. Although the premise is the same, in that you have to complete drill objectives in a few locations before moving on to a new area while fending off waves of beasts. It's fast, tough and mad.
