Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Red Dead Redemption 2 best-selling PS Store titles in October

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2 were two of the biggest releases in October, so it's no surprise both topped the PS4 charts last month.

PlayStation 4 users in Europe and North America ate up Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2 like candy during October.

Both titles charted first and second, respectively, in Europe and North America. Black Ops 4 released mid-month, while Rockstar's latest dropped one day ahead the cutoff.

Red Dead Redemption 2 “set new records” for full game sales on the PlayStation Network with the highest pre-orders, day one sales, and first three days sales ever. It won't be a stretch of the imagination to claim the western will top both charts in November.

Rounding out the top five in both regions were FIFA 19, Battlefield 1, and Assassin's Creed Odyssey, all great selling IPs in their own right.

Spider-Man was the most-downloaded PS4 title in North America during September, but fell to sixth place in October. It stands in seventh place in Europe.

The top 10 best-selling PS4 games in October for both regions are below. To look over the rest of the charts, hit up the EU PS Blog and the US PS Blog.
