These are Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's multiplayer factions

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare developer Sledgehammer Games has been playing its new shooter against selected members of the community. Studio co-founder Michael Condrey has posted a photo that confirms both of the game's multiplayer factions, and a returning game mode.

Just last week, Condrey explained to press that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare multiplayer will be quite different to previous entries, and confirmed that the shooter's online gadgets won't be over-powered. Anyone who despises OP killstreaks should be happy with that one.

Condrey posted this on Friday:

The shot appears to be a post-match score table, revealing that private military company Atlas, and a group known as Sentinel will be locking horns as rival factions online.

We already know that the Atlas group is helmed by Jonathan Irons, played by Kevin Spacey, but we're not sure what Sentinel is yet. If we had to guess we'd say it's a rogue PMC, but we'll know more in time.

Also worthy of note is the mention of Capture the Flag mode at the top of the photo. This is interesting as Call of Duty: Ghosts dropped CTF mode in favour of Blitz, so it looks like the mode is making a comeback this November. Judging by the image, it'll be 6v6.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare hits PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Wii U on November 4.
