Advanced Warfare weekend events: sniper-only playlist, Gun Game, double XP

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare developer Sledgehammer Games is teasing us with quite a bit of events that will take place this weekend.
The active developer posted this succinct message on Twitter earlier.
Let's breakdown that tweet, shall we? Gear drops are basically new pieces of cosmetic armour sets that you can find in the random loot drops, they may even be exclusive to this weekend and won't drop after. One Shot Moshpit is basically a playlist where you can only use sniper rifles.
As for Gun Game, well we already know it's coming, though it would certainly be strange if it were a limited-time thing.
