The upcoming entry in the Call of Duty series by Sledgehammer Games will benefit from being set in the near-future. Some of these benefits include some interesting gun prototypes, one of which is a 3D-printer gun.

The 3D-Printer Rifle, as its referred to in game, still needs liquid matter to function, once you load it in, the internal 3D-printer begins to print ammo. This method of ammo reproduction is supposed to significantly reduce reload times.
