Call of Duty 5 will be revealed in "mid-to-late" June

Videogaming247 has learned that Activision is about to reveal Call of Duty 5.

The game's first media release will take place within two weeks.

"The reveal's scheduled for mid-to-late June," said a source. We weren't told what the first look would consist of, although details and screens are a safe bet.

Call of Duty 5 is being developed by Treyarch, not Infinity Ward, the creating studio behind shooter meta-smash Call of Duty 4.

The game is believed to be set back in World War II, not in CoD4's contemporary theatre.

We contacted Activision for comment this morning but they hadn't replied at the time of writing.
