Cage: Microsoft was "lying" over "sci-fi" E3 Natal demo

David Cage has come out and attacked Microsoft for "lying" over its "sci-fi" Natal demo from E3 last summer.

The said demo the Quantic Dream co-CEO is referring to is the one which shows a family using various applications with the motion camera, including scanning skateboards for a skating game.

"I've seen Natal, and I'm really curious to see what they're going to do with it," Cage told D'Toid. "I was a bit frustrated that they presented it with a sci-fi-type presentation."

He further added: "I thought it was a little bit lying to present it that way because it will let [consumers] think that they will [see] something that they are not really close to getting."

Microsoft announced recently it will be holding a special Natal event at E3 on Sunday, June 13, before its main presser the day after, at the USC Galen Center in Los Angeles.

Natal, which is expected to sell "millions and millions" according to MS, will release this holiday season.

Cage has already hinted at motion controls for Quantic's latest release Heavy Rain via PlayStation Move.
