Bungie scouting beta testers for its first Activision project

Bungie has announced it's seeking beta testers for its upcoming project with Activision.

In order to be considered, applicants must have a Bungie.net account and a valid email address, and if chosen, testers will help Bungie "continue making improvements to our playlists, features, and online community…and the potential to help us shape our glorious future."

Not all applicants will be accepted, but as Bungie said back in 2010, "hundreds of thousands" from all regions and territories "will be needed before all is said and done."

Here's what you'll be signing up for:

  • Playtests and Usability Testing at Bungie.
  • Surveys on game playing habits.
  • Alpha and Beta Testing for our next game.

Those interested should sign up through here.

The first title published under Bungie’s multi-game contract with Activision is expected in 2013, code-named Destiny, and believed to be an MMO sci-fi shooter.

It will be released on Xbox platforms first, reportedly, as well as the rumored third generation Xbox.
