• Sega said over the weekend that 1,290,755 Sega Pass users’ details were stolen in Friday’s website hack, including names, email addresses, dates of birth and encrypted passwords.
• Crytek has denied it has a next generation Microsoft console in the studio, and that rumors pertaining to such are false. The studio was responding to an original story from Videogamer, which said the next Xbox would be announced at E3 2012.
• An LA Superior Court judge ruled last week that there was sufficient evidence to support ex-Infinity Ward bosses Jason West and Vincent Zampella’s case against Activision over being sacked from the studio. The case will be going to trial.
• The console versions of Battlefield 3 run at 720p30.
• Sony has confirmed the new CECH-3000B model of PlayStation 3. It uses less power than the current version.
• Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has said he expects PS3 and Xbox 360 to drop in price at some point later this year.
• The Halo CE HD remake will support Kinect. Pro-tip - everything Microsoft does on Xbox 360 from here on out will support Kinect.
