Breath of the Wild Ha Dahamar Shrine Walkthrough

There are plenty of difficult Shrines to conquer in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and one of these is the Ha Dahamar Shrine. In this Zelda Breath of the Wild Ha Dahamar Shrine guide, we'll be walking you through beating the Breath of the Wild Water Guides Trial as easily as possible.

Zelda Breath of the Wild Ha Dahamar Shrine Walkthrough

The Ha Dahamar Shrine is pretty simple to get through, but getting to it will require a big jump and glide maneouver. Here's how:

  • The Ha Dahamar Shrine is surrounded by spikes that will hurt Link if touched. It's only minor damage, though, so no matter how you get through it's unlikely to make much difference - and on completion of the trial your heart containers are replenished.
  • In the trial room a small pool of water sits beneath a platform that can't be reached by jumping or climbing. Simply use Cryonis to build a pillar on the water's surface, then climb it and jump across to the platform. The next platform is also unreachable, but this time the water is flowing down the wall to the right. Use Cryonis to place an ice pillar on the wall to provide a platform to jump onto. Then leap across to the other side.
  • Place a pillar on the side of the wall to reach the platform
  • The room now opens up, with stairs down to the right and a large set of four staircases straight ahead. Before moving forward, look back to where you came from. There's a treasure chest on a platform that was previously out of sight. Use Cryonis to build a series of pillars on the waterfall and climb them to reach the chest. Opening it will reward you with a Purple Rupee, granting you 50 rupees.
  • Build pillars on the wall to guide the boulder down
  • Now head down the stairs to the right, past the glowing orange circle on the floor and towards the edge facing the platforms above. The idea here is to build pillars so that the boulder bounces back and down the slope. You'll also have to build a pillar at the bottom of the slope to ensure the boulder makes it to the orange circle. Placing the pillars is a little fiddly and you may find it easier to build pillars and get link closer to where you want them placed, but It is perfectly possible to place everything while standing on the lower level.
  • Once the boulder rolls down into the hole the gate opens and you can enter the final room and complete the Water Guides Trial. You've earned another Spirit Orb. You'll be transported back outside the Ha Dahamar Shrine, with the spikes surrounding it now gone.
