Breath of the Wild player yeets themselves into the stratosphere

If you haven’t unlocked Revali’s Gale - a magical ability that lets you summon an updraft - in Breath of the Wild, there are more inventive ways to get some air time.

One player found a clever way to yeet themselves high into the sky by using physics.

All you need is a plank, a platform shorter than the plank, a boulder, and magnesis. There, you’ve got yourself a seesaw, or maybe a trebuchet, depending on how you look at it.

Stand at one end of the plank, raise the boulder into the sky, and drop it from on high onto the other end of the plank. The trick is to use motion controls and flick the controllers up as you launch to get more height. Here’s a video of it in action:
