Bravely Default: 3DS SpotPass features include town-building

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy is looking set to be another fun RPG from Square-Enix. It's a Final Fantasy spin-off that's heading to Nintendo 3DS, which means it will come with obligatory SpotPass features in which players can connect with others to help save the ravaged village of Norende.

In the latest issue of Shonen Jump - by way of Andriasang - the feature is explained in detail. As you pass other Bravely Default players using SpotPass, or if you connect with them online, the population of the destroyed village will increase, causing it to recover.

The magazine also reveals "Crystal Spirits", which are entities that follow hero Anies on her quest to free crystals.

If you haven't checked out Bravely Default yet and you're a Final Fantasy fan, you can get your fill over at our screenshot gallery.
