BlizzCon Virtual Ticket now available for purchase

Blizzard has announced that you can now order a BlizzCon Virtual Ticket, which will allow you to watch the show at home if you are unable to attend in person.

The BlizzCon Virtual Ticket provides live online HD coverage for $39.99 and grants virtual access to both days of the show with two exclusive channels featuring developer panels, interviews, contests, replays and the closing ceremony.

Also, those who order a Virtual Ticket will also receive this year's BlizzCon-exclusive in-game goodies for World of Warcraft, StarCraft 2, Diablo 3, and Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft.

It also grants access to a limited-time online pre-BlizzCon merchandise sale featuring a selection of commemorative items that will be available for purchase at the show and the sale takes place over a five day period in the weeks leading up to the show. A public sale offering a more limited selection of items will go live afterward.

DIRECTV customers in the US can also access the Pay Per View event, priced at $49.99 which includes the Virtual Ticket online stream and in-game goodies mentioned above.

The opening ceremony as well as all eSports streams including the StarCraft 2 World Championship Series Global Finals and the World of Warcraft Arena Global Invitational—will be streamed for free in HD.

More information on the Virtual Ticket and what's included can be found through the official website.

BlizzCon takes place November 8 and 9 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.
