As with last year, teams of college students in the United States and Canada will be vying for free tuition for the duration of their college career. When the Grand Finals conclude, each player on the winning team will be handed up to $75,000 in tuition money.

The tournament will once again be broadcast by ESPN live on television and digital platforms, including early rounds on ESPN3 and the Heroic Four and Grand Finals telecast on ESPN2.

There will be 64 rounds available for viewing, with Round of 64, Round of 32, Round of 16, and Round of 8 portions of the tournament streamed live on ESPN3, Twitch and YouTube. The "Heroic Four" and Grand Finals take place in front of a live audience and will be aired on ESPN2 April 9-10.

Hopefully, none of the sportscasters employed by the cable network will get bent out of shape over potentially having to cover an eSports tournament this year.

Viewers will also have a chance to win prizes with the Heroes of the Dorm bracket challenge in the weeks ahead. The person with the most accurate bracket will be handed $10,000.

Students interested in playing in this year's tournament should get their teams together and register between now and February 18. Online qualifiers run February 20 through March 6.

Find out everything you need to know on entering the tournament, bracket information and more through the official Heroes of the Dorm website.
