Blizzard to skip fifth straight E3, but will attend gamescom

Blizzard has confirmed to MCV it won't be at E3 this year.

The no-show marks a fifth year it hasn't shown at the LA show. E3 takes place from June 5-7.

It has confirmed, however, it will be in Germany for gamescom in what looks like the only trade appearance from the company this year after it cancelled BlizzCon for this year.

It comes ahead of a busy period for the company, beginning with tonight's Diablo III launch, followed up by promotion of StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm and World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria.
