Blizzard taking applications for World of Warcraft Guild Mentors

Blizzard wants you - to handhold a bunch of newbs through the horrifying process of coming to understand MMORPGs in all their convoluted, unintuitive glory.

Gentle jabs at more experienced gamers aside, Blizzard really is setting up a Guild Mentoring Program for World of Warcraft, in which guilds can volunteer to identify and train up players to reach end-game content.

The program will be restricted to certain realms, and only level 6 and higher guild willing to change their names and commit for four months will be involved.

It sounds like a great way to nurture potential long-term players who are otherwise put off by a lack of friends in-game or just struggling to get over a difficulty hump; for more information or to apply, check out the FAQ.

Thanks, PCGamesN.
