Blizzard is letting you change your BattleTag as many times as you want - but there's a catch

I's going to cost you.

Blizzard has always offered a one-time change to your BattleTag for free, and if you somehow messed up twice, it was just too bad. You were stuck with another ridiculous name and frittered away the chance to do anything about it.

But now you can change your tag as much as you like. Go nuts. But after the first time, each change will cost you.

The move is similar to Microsoft's when they announced that they would allow players to change their Gamertag for a fee.

You can head over here to change your Battle.net tag.

The first time you partake it'll be free, with each change after that costing you $10. BattleTags don't have to be unique, but they do have to adhere to the naming policy.

Nothing else will affected if you do fancy splashing out.

Do you think companies charging for a name change is fair? Chime in below.
