BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II destined for 3DS and PSP

Not yet completely worn out your handhelds with complicated manoeuvres? BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II ought to remedy that.

Aksys has announced the manic 2D fighter is on its way to 3DS and PSP, and expected to release in the US on May 31.

The portable version features a roster of 18 and all the content of the major platforms, as well as an "Abyss" challenge mode for the seriously skilled.

Four player multiplayer is supported on both handhelds, while the 3DS version unsurprisingly sports 3D.

See a couple of screens for both systems below.

Why no console port? It doesn't need one. Continuum Shift II is not a sequel so much as a revision, and new content will be patched in to the current version next month.

Thanks, IGN.
