Blacklight: Retribution PS4 update includes free one-year anniversary goodies

Zombie Studios is celebrating Blacklight: Retribution’s release alongside PlayStation 4 with a game update and free goodies.

With Patch 2.07, the party system has been re-worked so there will be fewer steps to go through before playing with others.

The next update, Patcj 2.08, will come with “Icestorm” which finds a Valkyrie class transport crashing in a remote and frozen part of the world. It carries with it an armament shipment which players will need to retrieve "before it falls into the wrong hands."

Icestorm will include a new map, weapons and other survival-focused items and will be the first of larger content updates encompassing a single unified theme.

In appreciation for supporting Blacklight: Retribution, Zombie is handing out a one-year anniversary gift for both current and new players: a free permanent weapon receiver, one free 30-day hero skin, and the “Original Gamer" title - for all those who log-in from today through December 15.
