BioWare to begin SWTOR beta weekends this Friday

BioWare announced at PAX this past weekend that starting September 2 - that's this coming Friday - it'll be kicking off the closed beta weekends for Star Wars: The Old Republic.

It'll be emailing invites for the weekends at random to anyone who's registered on the game's website, so keep an eye on your inbox. People who haven't pre-ordered the MMO need not feel left out, as BioWare's confirmed everyone who's registered has been put into the draw.

SWTOR is slated for a release at the end of the year.
